SERVICES

 

  1. Organizes workers and assist members in union management and leadership, collective bargaining and administration of agreements, labor management cooperation schemes, and in grievance handling

 

 
  1. Designs, implements, monitors and evaluates education and information programs for members; and sends members to local and international training programs, conferences, workshops and meetings in cooperation with other unions, social partners and network
 
  1. Extends legal services to members and workers being organized
 
  1. Provides medical, dental, optical and allied health services to members and their families. We also conduct medical missions in selected communities

  2. Represents workers in multisectoral, tripartite and bipartite bodies at international and local levels. They also lead or support advocacy work or mass mobilizations to generate awareness and support to concerns and issues affecting workers and their families

  3. Helps members and their dependents by providing savings and loan credit facilities and income opportunities, among other services, thru the Associated Multi-Purpose Cooperative, Inc. (AMCI)

  4. Provides workers’ representation at international and local levels, and in tripartite and multi-sectoral bodies

  5. Leads or supports advocacy work or mass mobilizations to generate awareness and support to concerns and issues affecting workers and their families

  6. Provides “The Voice of Labor” thru Radio Stations DYLA AM and DYWF FM in Cebu City of the VIMCONTU Broadcasting Corporation (VBC)

  7. Supports members in the attainment of their well-being and growth thru psycho-spiritual activities; has  St. Joseph the Worker Chapel at the ALU-VIMCONTU Welfare Center in Cebu City and an oratory in Quezon City
