The ALU national and regional legal teams had at least 268 cases as of December 2010, fifteen of which with pending petitions for review in the Supreme Court.  About 89 percent were labor cases, involving issues ranging from complex complaints to simple non-payment of overtime pay and violation of the minimum wage law.  The other cases were pending in judicial and administrative agencies such as the Court of Appeals (CA), National Labor Relations Commission (NLRC), Office of the DOLE Secretary, Voluntary Arbitration and regular courts.
